Chart notes
ROSE HILL ROCKET vied for the early lead, took command around the turn, pulled away and proved the best. AIN'T GOT A CLUE raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. OUR INDIAN GIRL pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, but proved no match for the top two. HOT ROUTE was bumped at the start, racing near the back, came around the turn on the outside, made a mild bid, but was no factor. DELPHINE challenged for the early lead, saved ground around the turn and weakened. SLIM CAUSEWAY bumped at the start, raced near the back and was never close. MAIZ'N MONEY bumped at the start, raced evenly near the back and showed little. LADY SANTA MARIA raced in the middle of the field, dropped back and was outrun. NEVER WALK ALONE broke out, bumped, trailed the field and was never close.
