Chart notes
THEA vied for the lead under a hold around the first turn, continued with a short advantage over outer rivals up the backstretch, drew clear on the far turn, came under threat from both sides in the final furlong and dug in to hold gamely. EASTWICK stalked from inside then a bit off the rail, was coaxed along behind the pacesetter on the far turn, challenged from inside at the eighth pole, fought into deep stretch and got turned away late. GRETA'S GHOST vied between rivals to the far turn, lost touch with THEA and chased two wide around the bend, re-bid three deep in the lane but flattened late. BIG WHOOSH stalked two to three wide around the clubhouse turn, moved up quickly to challenge for the lead three deep between rivals on the backstretch, could not kick on with THEA around the far turn, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. CAITLIN FEVER stalked four deep early, remained wide up the backstretch, lost ground through the far turn and weakened. STRAWBERRY TIZZY vied three deep early, four deep to the half-mile pole, chased after the top trio to the far turn, dropped back and angled in around that bend and could not summon the needed rally. MAMARANDO steadied a bit when lost a clear path into the first turn, lagged behind in the early stages, saved ground through the far turn and was never a factor.
