BEARINGS raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late to kick clear. HEROIC MOVE raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the far bend, dueled in upper stretch and gave way late. BLUE DEVIL saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn and improved position in the lane. WHAT A DUDE saved ground around the first bend, led the way up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and faded in the stretch. HURRICANE CLOUD (GB) raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn still in the three path and made no bid. PINEY BLUFF raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing in the two path around the second turn and continued to tire from there.
