Chart notes
PALACE GUARD settled in midpack in the three path, improved under a drive around the turn, bid in the five path passing the eighth pole, and drew clear in the final sixteenth. DIRT ROAD RED prompted the pace in the two path early, bid passing the quarter, led while floating out to the four path passing the furlong grounds, but was caught by an outer foe in the final sixteenth. COLLUSIONIST chased in the two path, was driven in the four path around the turn and kept on from the five path down the lane for show. QUICKTRIP VAN tracked inside but weakened from the three path in the final furlong. PALACE KITTEN was wellback out in the five path early, improved around the turn, but lacked a final bid in the stretch. UNDER OATH set the pace inside but gave way in the final furlong. CUCINA rated in the four path but did not factor. SHANKAPOTAMUS trailed in the three path and never threatened. GUN SHOW was up close in the three path early but gave way in the stretch.
