Chart notes
MOTOR CITY unhurried in the early part, moved up four wide around the final turn, entered the stretch wide, drove clear and finished well. SPAMALOT raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, made a late bid and got up for second. CONTRABANDIST pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and was outfinished for second. SAME PLAY vied for the early lead, saved ground and faded. SARAH'S RUNNER challenged for the early advantage, faded and was no threat late. RED BARRON raced evenly near the back, came around the final turn on the outside and showed little. PORCHES always raced near the back and was outrun. TEXAS ADOPTER raced in the rear, pulled up coming out of the first turn and was transported by the equine ambulance.
