Chart notes
UNCLE REG challenged for the early lead, drove clear down the backside, pulled away down the home stretch and proved much the best. CONFUCIUS raced near the back in the beginning, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a wide bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. B MINOR raced within striking distance, came around the second turn between rivals, made a bid and proved no match for the top two. HEAT LIGHTNING pressed the pace, finished inside and lacked a late kick. VERACRUZIN vied for the early lead, saved ground and faded. SCALLYWAG raced in the middle of the pack, put forth an even effort and lacked a rally. MALIBU BRAD raced in the back of the pack in the beginning, improved position, but was no factor. F J'S FLACO pressed the early pace and made a steady retreat. COOKN WIT CATMAN void of early speed and was never close. JIM NED always raced near the back and showed little.
