Chart notes
MY COVENANT had a short lead inside a rival down the backside, was nursed along up top rationing out the speed maintaining a slim advantage around the bend, opened up mildly at the top of the stretch and drew clear when set down at the furlong pole to hold comfortably at the wire for the frontrunning score. IKNOWYOUCANWAIT had an inside stalking trip down the backstretch, shifted out in midturn lengthening stride, closed the gap by the quarter pole , angled out five wide in with a shot at the leader in upper stretch, could not get to the winner with a furlong remaining but continued to plug away and got up in a tight photo outside for the runners up share at the finish line. DIGITAL SECURITY had a tracking position on the rail, crept up saving all the ground through the turn, skimmed the fence posing the main threat in upper stretch, shifted outside in the two path with a furlong to go but was unable to get to the winner and just missed right at the wire lasting for the place share. DECADENT DANISH settled near the rear on the outside, made little headway travelling three to four wide outside runners on the turn, swung out widest in the seven path at the head of the lane, was charging hard through the stretch gaining ground smartly at the eighth pole but stalled in the late stages settling for a minor placing in the end. CLEAR POSITION had a good position forwardly placed on the outside watching the lead duo in the early going, moved out four wide with a chance for a piece of the prize four wide turning for home, had little run late and yielded between foes at the furlong marker. CELESTIAL HEART tracked the leader outside another early on, was under a ride chasing the pacesetter making little gain around the bend, remained in the mix three wide with foes on each side straightening out for home, had little left and wilted by the furlong marker. IMPERIAL WAR hopped up on the break, trailing down the backside, took the short way around closing the gap through the turn, skimmed the fence at the top of the lane but could not get involved inside rivals in the late running.
