Chart notes
FORT NECESSITY was well placed, rallied two wide to take the lead then was under steady urging to hold. DON'T HIT ME BASH was also close up, responded three wide to the stretch and was best of the rest. MATTAWA N THAT trailed early, eased out and rallied four wide to the stretch then picked off rivals to the wire. ANNIVERSAIRE D'OR tracked the pace early, was two wide to the stretch but came up empty in the drive. SECRET SAGA had no speed and was not a factor. PHAROAHS LIST hustled early and eased in, set the pace from the rail but was overtaken after a half and tired. FORDY G bobbled at the start then was caught five wide to the backstretch and was never a threat. A VIEW FROM ABOVE saved ground but did not factor.
