Chart notes
MALIBU MUSE set the pace on a clear lead, widened the advantage steadily under confident handling through the turn and was unchallenged down the lane. MACLEAN'S LULLABY reserved off the pace to midwy on the turn, circled six wide when called upon and finished well as second best. JOYOUS SONG stalked the pace from five wide to the quarter pole, rallied between rivals turning for home, angled out to the clear in upper stretch and ran-on as best of the rest. GOT A COMPLEX was well placed saving ground just off the leader and lacked a closing kick. TWORLY BLUEBELL slow early to be the distant trailer and never posed a threat. FORBIDDEN FRIEND broke alertly, settled off the pace, chased the leaders into the turn and faltered.
