Chart notes
SAINT GOAR reserved off the pace to be the trailer on the turn, was guided to cut the corner when the pacesetter opened the rail and ralied up the fence through the lane to prevail in the final sixteenth. CALL ME LATER sped to a clear lead early setting a fast pace, responded willingly when challenged at the quarter pole repelling a rival, fought-on through the lane and was outfinished late in a game effort. DOWAGIAC CHIEF tracked the leaders to the top of the lane, rallied five wide to loom in mid-stretch and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. DRUNK ON SAKE prompted the pace down the backside, rallied to challenge at the quarter pole, failed to pass the pacesetter and came up empty tiring in the lane.
