HELGA BRANDT (IRE) stalked the lone leader inside a rival, waited while continuing to save ground on the turn, launched a rail bid in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and held safely over the runner-up. SURF SONG raced outside a rival near the back, cut inside for the turn, finished well along the fence but had to settle for second best. MY PERFECT WAVE lacked early speed, went outside a rival leaving the backstretch, moved to the rail around the bend, angled out in the lane, closed well and gained the show honors. HEADS IN BEDS (FR) stalked between rivals, angled out around the bend, came four wide into the stretch and finished evenly late. LADY CHIC stalked the speed from inside, shifted to the two path with a quarter mile remaining, drifted out and bumped a rival midstretch and also finished evenly. CURTSY sped clear from outside and crossed over, led untested through the turn, moved off the rail a bit entering the drive, challenged by the winner shortly after, yielded midstretch and weakened in the late stages. GREY MATTER raced up close outside a rival, was ridden along two wide around the bend, got bumped from inside midstretch and lacked a bid. HALSTYN ROSE sat off the pace outside a rivals, took the turn three wide, tipped out at the top of the lane, drifted out inside the eighth pole and flattened out. ANGELICA BAY (IRE) coaxed from the gate, ran up behind a rival and had to put the breaks on approaching the half-mile pole, trailed into the turn, passed a trouble rivals around the bend, angled out in the lane and failed to menace. DONATA raced in range 3deep, came five wide into the lane, got floated out by HALSTYN ROSE near the eighth pole and weakened. MY CHERRY PIE settled in the two path, was ridden along around the bend and could not make an impact. THATSALRIGHTMAMA unhurried in the early going and moved inside, shifted out at the three-eighths pole and dropped back, eased through the lane and walked off.
