Chart notes
SHADOWY prompted the pace along the inside, made the lead nearing the turn, set the balance of the pace, widened into the stretch under right handed urging and won under confident handling. AL'S ROMEO stumbled at the start, trailed early, began to closed ground three wide through the turn, shifted out five wide for racing room and was steadily gaining on the winner late. THUNDERIAN never far back, loomed boldly inside rivals nearing the quarter pole then was outfinished. CHOCTAW ZIP with the second flight three wide, faded in the stretch. GUNNER GABRIEL set the early pace two wide, had speed into the stretch then weakened. POWERFUL MOON pressed the pace three wide into the turn, stopped in upper stretch and jogged to the wire.
