Chart notes
TIME ZAPPER broke out a bit, tracked from inside in behind, angled out pushing through between foes leaving the turn, swept to the lead and clear in upper stretch, held sway under moderate late urging. CALL ME BOND was in a bit tight at the start, settled last but one, angled five to six wide turning for home, chased the winner late but was only second best. MASTER STEAL broke in a bit, was forwardly-positioned moving inside a foe to the lead after the opening furlong, dictated terms on or just off the rail, weakened in the stretch but saved show honors. PROUDLY CANADIAN was in tight at the start, settled at the rear, swung six wide, missed show honors. MR. PERFECT got away well and had the early lead, was soon overtaken and pressed from outside then between foes on the turn while encouraged along, began weakening nearing the quarter pole, was in tight past that marker, faded. SWIFT ATTRACTION was a bit reluctant, broke a step slowly, moved forward chasing from outside, went four wide on the turn, weakened.
