Chart notes
BURNIN TURF tracked the runaway leader in the clear down the backstretch, rallied with a steady bid leaving the three-eighths pole narrowing the gap, assumed command in upper stretch and finished well to hold the closer safe. TEMPUS unhurried to be the trailer in a well strung out field, responded to early urging to rally on the inside saving ground on the far turn, searched for racing room in upper stretch trying to close on the winner and ROYAL LUCK, finally split horses late to be gaining in the final sixteenth in a good try. ROYAL LUCK (CHI) reserved off the pace for the first three-eighths, improved postion on the backstretch, circled four wide turning for home to be prominent in mid-stretch and hung in the final furlong failing to get passed the winner. MEANT TO BE LUCKY took command from the gate, opened a clear lead setting a fast pace down the backside, shortened stride turning for home and tired in the lane. R ADMIRAL was not a factor dropping out to be the trailer after a half mile.
