Chart notes
DIPTIQUE raced mid-pack down the backstretch, narrowed the gap with a steady advance on the turn, kicked into stride in upper stretch tipping around the tiring pacestter to take the lead and finished well to hold sway. DOWN IN THE BAYOU reserved off the pace at the back o the pack, rallied at the quarter pole angling seven wide at the top of th lane and mounted a belated bid to be gaining late. LENA KAHLENA set the pace on a clear lead to midway on the turn, dug-in when challenged turning for home and weakened in the final eighth. STRAWBERRY SKY passed tiring rivals in the lane. SAWEETIE GIRL tracked the leaders down the backside, narrowed the gap on the turn and flattened out in upper stretch. KATHLYNS PHALANX stalked the pacesetter to midway on the turn, rallied to threaten nearing the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch.
