Chart notes
GRAND MORNING set the pace on a clear well rated lead, was well measured through the far turn on a comfortable pace, kicked clear when called upon and was unchallenged in the lane. SNOVEMBER unhurried to race near the rear of the field to the far turn, commenced a steady bid midway on the bend, split rivals in upper stretch and finished well to be clearly second best. STEAL THE RHODE raced in mid-pack down the backside, rallied on the turn to prominence and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. FROZEN FOUR slow early to be the trailer, remained at the rear to the top of the lane, swung eight wide and made a belated rally in the stretch. BREATH DEEPLY went evenly failing to menace. IMPAZIBLE PRINCE prompted the pace for a half mile and faded. THE MAN TO SEE tracked the leaders down the backstretch to be well placed saving ground, tipped three wide to challenge on the far turn and flattened out giving way in upper stretch. NOBLE STAR raced six wide on the first turn, moved up to stalk down the backstretch from the outside and came up empty on the final bend.
