MY GAL laid in range in the two path, got stymied along the rail in upper stretch, slipped thru along the inside at the gap, and kicked on to inch ahead late. LYRIC STREET bumped with an inner foe leaving the chute, laid up close in the three path, was driven in the two path around the far turn, bid in the three path passing the eighth pole, dueled with an inner foe to the wire, but got edged out. FORGET TOMORROW bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked in the two path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, and rallied in the final furlong to get up for show. LADY AUTHENTIC showed the way along the inside, was coaxed along while just off the rail around the far turn, fought on between foes from the two path in upper stretch, but yielded in the final sixteenth. DONA LUNA bumped with an outer foe and had to steady leaving the chute, chased in the two path up the backstretch, was coaxed along around the far turn, and improved from the five path down the lane. LOST IN THOUGHT raced in midpack in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the far turn, but faded in the stretch. KEY WITNESS bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated in the two path, lost ground up the backstretch, was ridden around the far turn, but finished evenly. GOONIE stalked in the three path but faded along the inside in the stretch. SHEPPTON SISTERS was wellback along the inside and never a factor. SAVE THE UNION trailed in the three path early and never threatened. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF DONA LUNA AGAINST THE RIDER OF LYRIC STREET FOR INTERFERENCE LEAVING THE CHUTE WAS DISALLOWED.
