Chart notes
MARK MY MEMORY broke sharply and went a length or two clear of the field, extended the lead through the turn, then responded when set down in the stretch and drew away under a vigorous hand ride. GRAY MIKE raced close up along the rail through the first quarter mile, then lost ground to the rest heading into the turn, was kept to task and re-rallied in the stretch, no match for the winner, but was a clear second. AVERYZ DAY broke outward at the start, steadied, dropped to last, ran on some late to gain the third spot. STORM BACK came away well, was briefly close to MARK MY MEMORY in the initial stages, then chased that one under a drive through the turn to no avail, then weakened in the stretch. KUZ I CAN MAN settled at the back after the start, then moved up to mid-pack on the turn, was already under a drive passing the three-furlong pole, then had nothing to offer in the stretch.
