Chart notes
DR. KAPUR vied two wide, led between prompters around the turn and drove clear in midstretch. CHIP HONCHO broke a step slow, advanced to press outside of the top pair into the turn, bid turning for home, but proved no match for an inner counterpart nearing midstretch, battled for place with an inner foe through the final furlong and prevailed. FUZZBUSTER vied for the lead with an outer foe early on, came under rousing inside of a pair of foes around the turn, proved no match for his most immediate counterpart reaching midstretch, dueled for place with an outer rival through the final furlong and missed. THUNDER BUCK broke inwardly and was off slow, lacked speed along the inside, shifted out to the three path in midstretch and moved up between horses late. CIRCLE TAP tracked in the three path, chased in the four path into upper stretch, lacked progress and faded. LIBERTY NATIONAL raced off of the pace, yielded between rivals passing the nine sixteenths pole, trailed in the two path around the turn, shifted out leaving upper stretch and failed to factor. FLAMING RAINBOW stalked in the two path, chased turning for home and faded. SURE TO APPEAL hesitated and steadied behind a rival at the start, lacked speed in the four path and got outrun.
