Chart notes
PROCTOR STREET rated at the rear in the three path, progressed in the four path around the far turn to launch a bid in upper stretch, forged an advantage between rivals at the three sixteenths pole, inched clear in the final furlong and held sway. SHE'S LOOKIN LUCKY pursued from midpack two wide, then in the three path and between horses around the far turn, got outmoved by outer rivals while awaiting racing room entering the lane, tipped out to the six path in midstretch and rallied to edge place from between horses in the closing stages. A LILAC ROLLA (IRE) broke slowly, trailed along the inside, shifted out to the five path into the lane, moved wider in upper stretch, then rallied outside of foes to offer a bid for place in the late stages, but was denied. PUBLIC DEFENDER stalked in the three to four path around the first turn, pursued three wide around the far turn, brushed the leader while offing a bid in upper stretch, but got outkicked by an outer rival shortly after, kept on to vie for place into the final sixteenth but yielded to an outer pair late. STRIKINGLY SPUN pursued from midpack along the inside, steadied slightly entering the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, but encountered traffic in upper stretch, tipped to the four path at the three sixteenths pole, shifted out and stayed on. SMILING ELLIE lacked speed in the two path, was held up behind rivals at the three furlong pole, tipped out and quickly gained five wide into the lane to offer a bid in upper stretch, failed to gain even terms while sustaining her challenge through midstretch, but yielded between horses in the final furlong. FOR FLYING (BRZ) tracked along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, but was blocked between horses in upper stretch and failed to menace. NANABUSH (ARG) set the pace along the inside around the first turn, stalked an outer clearing counterpart into the backstretch, rebid outside of that one around the far turn, forged an advantage entering upper stretch, but was brushed and headed by outer bidders shortly after, then weakened through the final furlong. SCARLET SANDS pressed the leader from the three path around the first turn, sped off to a clear advantage while tucking to the inside entering the backstretch, maintained a margin around the far turn, but was caught by outer rivals in upper stretch and caved.
