Chart notes
SWISS SLANG reserved off the pace for the first half mile, steadily closed the gap on the far turn, anlged five wide, closed well through the lane and came over the top of dueling leaders to be going away late. HAPPYISASHAPPYDOES set the pace under mild pressure to midway on the final turn, responded when challenged at the top of the stretch by UNCLE TRULY, dueled with that one through the lane refusing to let him get passed and was outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth having won the battle and lost the war. UNCLE TRULY stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied on the bend splitting rivals at the quarter pole to engage the pacesetter, battled through the lane and was outfinished in a good effort. BARTULIA prompted the pace for three-quarters to be prominent and lacked a closing kick. CERTAIN was not a threat.
