Chart notes
GOGGINS broke a step slow, was unhurried while steadily advancing through the field to the turn, rallied on the bend, angled six wide at the top of the lane and closed with a rush to be up in the last stride. SO GRAND set a fast pace on a clear lead, widened the advantage on the turn to be well clear midway down the lane and was caught on the wire in a good effort. VERNOR'S JUNCTION chased the pacesetter through the turn and ran-on in the lane as best of the rest. RAR trailed while racing wide down the backstretch and passed weaker rivals in the stretch without impact. SIETE SIETE SIETE stalked the pace to the turn and steadily faded. GRAYTE WHYTE was not a threat. FUOCO was outrun.
