Chart notes
MALIBU RAIN led the way up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and dug in gamely in the lane to just hold the win. LOVESUNFAIR chased the leader through the opening quarter, continued around the bend in the three path and gained ground late, dueling to the wire to just miss. ANGELA'S ANGEL raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, navigated the turn from the three path and improved position in the lane. SPEND AGAIN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and finished evenly. SCORPION SHOT hit the gate leaving it, raced off the pace up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the turn and made no bid. MARK ME IN stalked the pace setter on the outside through the opening stages, moved up while racing in the four path around the turn and flattened out in the stretch. DINERO DE LA CASA hopped up leaving the gate, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE START. UPON REVIEW, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ALL HORSES HAD FAIR BEGINNINGS AND NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
