Chart notes
EITHERINORINTHEWAY broke inward, bumping into INNOCENT MAN, prompted action in the backstretch, moved up four wide, swept the lead in the far turn, and was ridden out. STRATEGIC DECISION fanned three wide into the opening turn, lacked room leaving the backstretch, rallied three wide late stretch and held for second. WRIT IN STONE fractious in the gate, shifted out four wide into the far turn, rallied and just missed out for place. JUST KEN contested the early pace, had no response to a challenge from the eventual winner, chased in to no avail and gave way. BLUE QUILL saved ground while showing the way, was overtaken in the backstretch, and finished up evenly along the rail. INNOCENT MAN stumbled then was bumped leaving the gate, and failed to threaten. RATTLESNAKE JACK offered little.
