Chart notes
RISK MANAGER saved ground at the tail of the field, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, rallied outside and was up in the final jumps to the finish to score. BELOUNI (FR) tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, dug in under threat and was caught in the final strides to the wire. SON OF A BIRCH settled tracking just off the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, ran on to procure the show honors. WALLEY WORLD broke out at the start brushing LE GRIS, saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, got set down angled five wide into upper stretch, improved position to the finish. FUERTEVENTURA buckled at the start when losing his rear footing and was corrected before making contact with RISK MANAGER, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide in aim of the leader, cornered three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, got headed just inside that station and weakened in the late stages. CLEAR CONSCIENCE settled three wide near the rear of the field, came under coaxing three furlongs out, angled six wide into upper stretch and offered no response. HIGHESTDISTINCTION chased three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, weakened. LE GRIS got brushed at the start by WALLEY WORLD, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide for home and weakened in the stretch. TUT'S REVENGE showed the way in hand just off the inside until tucked inside at the three-eighths marker, got let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, got collared near the eighth pole and weakened through to the finish. LAIRD OF MAGNOLIA three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled out eight wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. CONMAN four wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened.
