Chart notes
MURSAL stumbled at the break, recovered to settle under a rating hold just off the inside just off the top pair, tucked inside through the turn, tipped three wide into upper stretch and was roused with three-sixteenths to go, rallied to get on near even terms through the final sixteenth and was up in the late stages to prevail. LIKA ROLLING STONE coaxed from the gate, led early on under a hold and was displaced narrowly from command by JACKIE THE JOKER with five and a half furlongs to run, remained on hold four then three wide in closest aim of that rival, tucked to the two path through the turn and was patiently waited with, swung three wide into upper stretch, seized command set down for the drive with three-sixteenths to run, dug in under threat and tussling head to head through the final sixteenth and was nailed in the last jumps. PENS STREET got guided inside at the break with a stiff left rein, tipped out and chased three then two wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch, closed well through to the end latching on the top pair as they hit the finish. BABY SASSICAIA coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside down the backstretch before tipping three wide into the turn, came under a ride at the seven-sixteenths, angled out six wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. JACKIE THE JOKER bobbled at the start, advanced after the break to take command five and a half furlongs from home, showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until roused taking the two path at the quarter pole, got caught with three-sixteenths to run and weakened through to the finish. JACKSON'S DIXIE chased three then two wide, got let out angled four wide at the head of the stretch, tired.
