Chart notes
LEGAL EMPRESS stalked the leaders in the early going, moved up on the inside around the final turn, got through on the rail and pulled away. ISLAND GOLD void of early speed, made a late wide gain, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. MADISON RAE pressed the pace, was forwardly placed throughout, but lacked a late kick. BRUNCH PUNCH sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground and faded. EMILY'S BULLET raced evenly near the back and was never a factor. STAR ANISE lacked early speed, came around the second turn on the outside, finished wide and was outrun. MOON MIST raced within striking distance, steadied around the first turn, angled to the outside, came around the final turn wide and dropped to the rear.
