Chart notes
EL PERFECTO vied for the early lead, drove clear down the backside, pulled away and finished strong. FORTUITY raced within striking distance, came around the final turn on the outside, made a wide bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. FRENCH COMPOSER showed early speed, raced close throughout and lacked a late kick. BUTLER CABIN raced in the back of the pack in the beginning, made a late inside gain, but was no factor. FOXTROT HARRY raced near the back in the early going, came around the second turn on the outside and showed late interest, but was no threat. NOTION challenged for the early advantage, saved ground around the second turn and faded. ALL IN SYNC lacked early speed, moved up at the 3/4 pole and faded down the stretch. TAPPIN FORA DANCE was bumped at the start, raced in the middle of the field, finished wide and dropped back. BARON OF THE NILE void of early speed and showed little. AMERICAN CITY broke in, showed early speed and dropped back.
