RUNNINGFORCASH saved ground while being reserved off the pace, moved through to take the lead nearing the half mile pole, opened a clear lead entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. MILLARD'S SMILE was unhurried early, rallied seven-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. STRONGER TOGETHER broke in then chased the early pace racing two-wide, moved forward splitting rivals nearing the half mile pole, was unable to stay with the winner but finished well for third. HOLCOMBE was in tight early then raced in the back off the field, rallied four-wide into the stretch, steadied in traffic at the eighth pole then angled in for room, steadied again near the sixteenth pole and finished willingly when clear. PAYNT BY LETTERS saved ground racing in the middle of the field and failed to seriously threaten. EUCLID AVENUE vied for the early lead with MAJOR CONTENDER while racing three-wide and weakened. MAJOR CONTENDER vied with EUCLID AVENUE for the lead from along the outside and tired. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
