Chart notes
MAY MISCHIEF raced close up to the solid early pace, tracked the pacesetter two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, got floated out a bit to upper stretch and loomed three to four wide into the lane, took command into the final furlong, kicked clear past mid-stretch, drew off into the final sixteenth and was ridden out late to win as much the best. BELLA MENDY showed speed away from the start and contested the early pace, ceded the front and chased from the inside into the turn, saved ground to the stretch, was no match for the winner into the final furlong but fought on well into deep stretch and was second best. SWEET SASH settled off of the solid early pace, was guided outside of rivals along the turn, asked for run five wide to the stretch, could not muster the needed response into the final furlong but stayed on into the final sixteenth and got up for third. SPATULA showed good early speed, assumed command along the backstretch and set a solid pace into the turn, showed the way to the quarter marker then drifted out when confronted by MAY MISCHIEF nearing the top of the lane, was overtaken at mid-stretch, faded in the late stages and was outfinished for third. NEBLINA broke alertly then rated off of the solid early pace, tracked the pace three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response at mid-stretch and gave way in the late stages. TINKATWO chased the early pace from between rivals, got to the rail approaching the turn and ran in pursuit while in a bit tight along the bend, angled three to four wide for the stretch drive and did not rally late. MISCREANT unhurried early on, swung four wide for the stretch drive, needed more in the lane and passed tiring rivals late. SLENDER SLIPPER settled off of the solid early pace, saved ground to the stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. WHITE CLAW WOMAN (IRE) tracked the early pace from between rivals, was caught in tight and took up at the seven-sixteenths marker, dropped back along the turn and tired in the stretch drive. MY SWEET ADALINE lacked early speed, coaxed two wide to upper stretch, no factor.
