Chart notes

LOUD APPLAUSE showed good speed from the start, vied for the early lead and set a contested pace to the turn, shook free into the bend, drew clear at the quarter marker and held sway to mid-stretch, kept to task while on the left lead into the final sixteenth, dug in in deep stretch and held for the win at the wire. COFFEE AT K J'S tracked the early pace from the inside, angled off of the rail into the turn, roused five wide to upper stretch, finished well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and held for second at the wire. VALIANT WINTER chased the early pace from between rivals, was well placed to the turn then was shuffled back at the three-eighths marker, raced in traffic along the bend then angled three wide to upper stretch, closed willingly into the final furlong, just missed for second at the wire and held safely in the end for third. ONE MORE DUKE was forwardly placed between runners in the early stages, tracked two then three wide into the turn and waited for room at the quarter marker, chased four wide to upper stretch and could not muster the needed late response. VALID SENSE bobbled a bit at the start and was off a step slowly, settled off of the early pace, asked for run five to six wide nearing the quarter marker, swung widest for the stretch drive and was gaining late. FLY COMMANDER settled off of the early pace, coaxed four then three wide to the quarter marker, needed more in the stretch drive and offered a mild late bid. TIME FOR RESTRAINT chased the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, stayed on from the two path into the stretch then gave way past the furlong marker. BABYBACK hard sent away from the start, disputed the pace to the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker then faded in the drive. FLYING ASH off a bit slow to begin, saved ground to the quarter marker then did not threaten in the stretch. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
