STORMY BLUE away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, battled in the run down the backside from the inside of RONDELITO, rallied smartly from along the rail through the final turn, held a clear advantage into the lane, and was never seriously threatened late. DIOCLES settled at the back of a compact field while racing just out from the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to bide his time at the back of the field in the run down the backside, commenced his bid two wide entering the final turn, and closed willingly three wide in the drive. APPREHEND away well and tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, dropped back to trail midway down the backstretch while holding a striking position, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while finishing five wide in the drive. WHAT'S SHAKIN tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, maintained a tracking trip in the run down the backside, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and finished from along the inside in the stretch drive. RONDELITO broke sharply and pressed the pace through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, continued to force the issue from the outside of STORMY BLUE in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, was unable to match strides with his pace rival leaving the turn, and was outfinished in the stretch drive.
