Chart notes
INDY MAGIC prompted three deep, vied into the turn, led turning for home and drove clear in the final furlong while hanging on his left lead. AMERICAN XPERIMENT vied two wide and between horses, got headed by his outer counterpart turning for home, yielded to that one in the final furlong then narrowly lasted for place. MENA laid off of the pace in the two path, then in the three path and between horses got into the lane, ran on to offer a late bid for place but missed at the wire. PLAY THE TRUMPET bobbled subtly at the start, stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the turn, moved between horses before shifting to chase in the five to four path into the lane, but flattened out without threatening the top pair and got outkicked for show by an inner foe at the sixteenth pole. MIDNIGHT PRANKS trailed along the inside, shifted to the four path entering the lane and improved position. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT led narrowly inside of a pair of prompters into the turn, gave way to them with five sixteenths to go and caved. BOLD DISCOVERY tracked in the three path, swung out to the six path entering the lane but lacked a bid and tired.
