MAVERICK QUEEN bobbled subtly leaving the gate, saved ground off of the pace, crept closer in the two path turning for home, spun to the four path into the lane, ran on to edge show while flopping to her left lead in midstretch, changed back over and held that position from an inner challenger late. LIAM'S LATTE laid off of the pace two wide, then in the three path and between rivals turning for home, bumped with an inner foe while put to crowded quarters among foes in upper stretch, stayed on into the final furlong, but shifted in and bothered an inner rival at the sixteenth pole, had her hind heels clipped in the process and was denied show. TREASURED TIMES lacked speed along the inside, took the far turn in the four path before fanning to the seven path in to upper stretch and ran on belatedly. PASHMINA laid off of the pace three wide, then five to six wide around the far turn and stayed on mildly. KARMA CAT tracked five to three wide, chased the leaders around the far turn and faded between horses. UNLIKELY QUEEN stalked three to two wide and between horses, yielded rounding the far turn, tucked to the inside nearing the lane, but steadied and clipped an outer rival's heels while being bothered at the sixteenth pole. FIRE trailed in the two path then moved up. SHANE'S THE BRAINS stalked two wide and between horses, pressed down the backstretch then faded in upper stretch. ANGELIC KATIE pursued from midpack two wide and between horses, gave way along the inside around the far turn, bumped with an outer foe in upper stretch and faded. FOGG COVE tracked four wide and between horses, chassed around the far turn then weakened among foes in upper stretch. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING LIAM'S LATTE'S ACTIONS IN THE FINAL FURLONG RESULTED IN LIAM'S LATTE BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED EIGHTH.
