Chart notes
CRUMLIN TROUBLE was loose up top setting a mild pace into the wind just off the rail, comfortably travelled in hand well in control around the turn, opened up at the top of the lane when let out a notch and cruised home for the frontrunning score. SIL'S GAMBLE had the inside position stalking down the back straight, was throttled down briefly coming up to a tiring rival midway on the turn, shifted to the four path for the drive, was full of run down the stretch and got up just before the finish line to best the rest for the runners up share. CLOUD RIDER chased on the rail in the early stages, still kept trying on the fence down the stretch, could not get to the winner by the furlong pole and faded slightly late being nabbed at the wire for the second place share. TANDHONEYWITHANE was unhurried seeing the field at the half, lagged at the rear shifting out in midturn, swung out widest in the five path turning for home and had good late energy in the final eighth of a mile to be a fringe player outside foes at the wire. DANCETOTHERHYTHM kept a close eye on the frontrunner with rivals on either side in the early going, was roused but could not keep up with the lead three runners at the five sixteenths pole, scraped paint dueling for the show money in upper stretch but evened out inside in the final seventy yards. PRINCESSONAMISSION travelled three deep watching the pacesetter, was still three wide taking closer order on the turn by the quarter pole, fought on in the mix just off the fence for a share at the top of the lane but folded by the sixteenth pole. BAYTOWN STORM had an outside stalking role down the backside, was scrubbed three wide at the five sixteenths pole making little progression around the turn, stayed on the incorrect lead down the lane and could not get involved between foes in the final furlong.
