Chart notes
MOHAYMEN DIAMOND settled off the pace racing two to three wide, fanned five to six deep turning for home with aim and advancing readily, took charge in upper- to mid-stretch, drew clear. STRATUS shifted in after the start, settled inside close up tracking mid-pack, saved ground till moving out late on the turn three wide passing the quarter pole with aim and advancing, made a mild brief bid in upper stretch but was no match for the winner. LONNY'S GAMBLE was lightly bumped at the start, settled at the back outside, was three wide and niggled along passing the three-eighths, could make no real headway but kept on inside to get up for show honors. POLITICAL WARFARE exchanged a bump at the start and was strongly urged forward, made the lead and set the pace shadowed by a rival early, edged clear nearing the half, led them into upper stretch but was soon challenged and readily overtaken, weakened and lost show at the wire. CONNOR stalked from outside three wide into the turn just off the leader, was encouraged late on that bend but had no response. BLONDINA'S BOY bumped with a rival at the start then was strongly urged forward, stalked just off the flank of the leader, began retreating at the half, came up empty.
