Chart notes
BOUND TO SUCCEED bumped at the start, rushed to claim the early lead, drifted out late in the stretch but was able to hold on to the victory. PROBABLY stalked the pace three wide, began closing in the final sixteenth before taking hold due to drifting rival. VALID CONNECTION settled to stalk the pace along the inside, gave enough room along the inside exiting the turn to allow rival to sneak in, continued through the stretch behind the pace between foes for an even finish. DIXIE MAN bumped at the start and ducked towards the inside, trailed for most, showed signs of a rally along the inside of the stretch before flattening out late. LEGENDARY STAR settled off the pace four wide, trailed in the final furlong, showed little. JOCKEYS OBJECTION BY PROBABLY ON BOUND TO SUCCEED REGARDING INTERFERENCE IN THE LATE STAGES OF THE STRETCH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
