Chart notes
DREAMING OF AUDREY broke ahead of the pack to save ground and claim the early lead on the inside, pressured by foe up the backstretch and far turn before kicking clear in the stretch to be much the best. LATE NITE LIZZIE bumped at the start, moved up along the inside of the first turn to race not far off the pace, gained position in the far turn and upper stretch but was no match for the winner. DERBY DAY KISS pressed the pace from the two path, made no bid, weakened in the final furlong. FIVECLOCKSOMEWHERE bumped at the start, ducked out in the first turn to bump ELIKA out of position, tracked the pace three wide up through the backstretch and far turn, had nothing left for the stretch. ELIKA settled behind the pace, bumped out by FIVECLOCKSOMEWHERE in the first turn back off the pace four wide, made no more improvements. SACRED CONNECTION raced off the pace, made no impact. CEEBEE trailed throughout, no factor. STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE FIRST TURN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
