GAMETIME GLADIATOR raced three wide on the first turn, stalked three wide, bid four wide at the half mile marker, dueled outside on the far turn, dueled with OKIE DEN DEN in the final furlong, battled heads apart to the finish and got the nod at the wire. OKIE DEN DEN stalked close up two wide, bid three wide at the half mile pole, dueled on the far turn, dueled with the winner through the stretch drive, dug in gamely and just missed at the finish. EARL OF DASSEL tracked on the inside, made a mild rail bid on the backside, then chased inside on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. TAPIZAR'S TEMPER stalked between rivals, chased on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. SMOOTH MOTION set the early pace racing with a clear lead, then dueled from the half mile marker and weakened.
