UNION EXPRESS broke through the gate prior to the start and was reloaded, chased along the inside, struck the temporary rail near the six and a half furlong marker and was checked out bumping LANDMAN FRIDAY in the hind quarters and forcing a pair of rivals to alter out while LANDAUER kept to the rail just getting through to the inside, chased along the inside at the tail of the field, got nudged along at the five-sixteenths, cornered three wide into upper stretch and made no impact.
