Chart notes
HELLADIC dueled for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, made a bid down the stretch, racing four wide and drove clear. CHARCO raced within striking distance, saved ground around the turn, made a rail bid, couldn't catch the winner, but was a clear second. ASTROLOGYSPROTEGE vied for the early lead, saved ground around the turn, raced close throughout, but lacked a late kick. JULIA'S WARRIOR raced near the back in the beginning, made a mild wide bid, but was no factor. WILD BERT raced in the back of the pack in the early part, improved position, but was no threat. COPTER raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn and lacked a rally. OCEOLA raced evenly near the back, came around the turn on the outside and was never a threat. ESSAY raced near the back, came around the turn on the outside and was never close. HOLY BAYOU raced within contention, dropped back and was outrun.
