Chart notes
OPTIMISTIC NATE quickest out of the chute, roused clear into the lane, running on the wrong lead held sway driving through the wire. MEAN JAKEY broke step slow, under urging into the turn, chased the pace along the rail into the lane, chased on second best. IMPERIAL KING chased four wide around the turn, outside rivals through the final sixteenth, finished willingly for the show. DISCREET DEVIL chased inside off the top pair around the turn, unable to switch leads through the lane, had no late punch. LIVING WATER pressed off the pace between runners around the bend, flattened out through the lane.
