Chart notes
GOTANOTIONTODRINK dueled inside, was steadied on the first turn, bid outside of a rival and drew off near the quarter pole under mild urging. FOUR STAR GENERAL was off awkwardly, trailed, bid inside near the half-mile pole, then bid in the two path at the quarter pole but was no threat. STARSPANGLEDIMAGE saved ground, angled in the four path near the three-eighths pole but had no late bid. SIR XANDER bore out at the start, stalked the pace in the three path and faded in the stretch. BIGLEY HUGE dueled outside of the winner, was clear briefly on the backstretch, dueled again and gave way on the far turn. DEWEY OXBURGER was unrushed early, bid in the three path near the quarter pole and faltered. CARTHAGE CRUISER raced in the two path and faded. BOLD JUSTICE was through early.
