Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE tracked the leaders from the inside to the top of the lane, angled four wide turning for home and rallied well to be going away. BRILLIANT JOURNEY set a pressured pace through slow fractions on a long hold to the far turn, responded when called upon battling the presser to mid-stretch and could not hold off the closing winner. RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW pressed the tepid pace from the inside while well held, dueled with the runner-up to the eighth pole and finished willingly while unable to improve. MAYNARD reserved off the pace to race near the rear of the field, angled six wide turning for home and put in a mild bid in the lane to narrow the gap. GOOSE HUNTER broke well, settled to be at the rear of the field, was carried nine wide at the top of the lane and ran-on evenly. ENJOY THE MUSIC stalked the pace down the backside, rallied mildly on the far turn to be prominently placed and faded coming home unable to sustain the bid.
