Chart notes
HIGHER FORCE showed the way while unchallenged and was well handled while in the two path to the inside, roused by the furlong marker left handed and kicked away to prove best. GRACE AND GRIT was three wide into the first turn and settled on the outside, moved in and advanced two wide on the far turn and came three wide off the bend to make a bid and loom boldly by the three sixteenths but flattened out in the final furlong and had to settle for being clearly second best. CAPITAL GAL stalked the early pace and then went up to prompt the winner three wide and was coaxed along by the three eighths marker to make a bid but could not sustain that bid and weakened in the drive while staying on for the show award. CARA'S DREAMWEAVER was four wide into the first turn and rated along on the outside, continued four wide on the far turn and under a coaxing and moved in leaving the three sixteenths and weakened. PURPOSE was settled towards the inside and was two to three wide on the far turn and under coaxing and came two wide into the lane but had no rally. BACKCHECK tracked the pace on the inside and then chased the pace while saving ground on the far turn and tired.
