Chart notes
TWIRLING QUEEN set the pace as an outer rival applied stern pressure, dueled with that one into the lane, got slightly headed while hanging on her left lead in upper stretch, yet fought on gamely into the final furlong, changed back to her right lead leaving the sixteenth pole, sustained the battle and narrowly prevailed. YOUALMOSTHADME prompted two wide and outside of the eventual winner, sparked a duel nearing the lane, wrestled a subtle advantage in upper stretch, battled as the duel continued on through the final furlong, but got outfinished by her inner counterpart and saved place from an outer bidder at the wire. OUJDA (FR) laid off of the pace two wide, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid outside of the embattled leading pair in the final sixteenth but needed more and missed place. MS. TART broke a step slow, trailed near the two path, drifted out to the six path in upper stretch and ran on willingly. CROWN IMPERIAL saved ground pursuing in midpack, altered course off of the rail in midstretch and failed to menace. TWIRL AROUND tracked in the three path, got outkicked by an outer foe while chasing in upper stretch then faded while hanging on her left lead.
