NUMERO SIETE tracked the pace four wide, challenged the pace in the final furlong and edged clear. SHARP WARNING quickly claimed the early lead, was approached by rival to vie for command in the turn, reclaimed command in the stretch before being challenged to duel by outside foe and ultimately giving way. DEFENSE WINS moved up to vie for command through the turn, gave way entering the stretch and weakened. SAM SEZ settled off the pace, passed tired foes in the stretch. SCRATCHY APACHE trailed for most, passed retreating rivals. SHUT UP MAN was rated on the inside, retreated in the stretch. J'S LITTLE MAN raced off the pace, saved ground in the turn, retreated in the stretch.
