Chart notes
CANDY TALKING chased in the five path, was driven in the three path around the turn, angled back out to the five path at the top of the lane, rallied past an inner trio to take command around the sixteenth, then drew clear late. CLOUDY LASS pressed the pace in the two path, bid around the turn, took the lead at the top of the stretch, kicked on to hold firm command passing the eighth pole, but was caught by a late charging outer foe around the sixteenth. AUNTIE VODKA set the pace inside, was roused midway around the turn, fought on gamely down the lane, flattened in the final sixteenth, but held show. VOODOO LADY stalked in the four path, was coaxed along in the three path around the turn, stayed on in upper stretch, but flattened in the final furlong. MOTOWN SOUND rated in the four path, was cued in the two path midway around the turn, but finished evenly down the lane. PETRONIA STREET tracked in the three path, waited along the inside rounding the turn, came under a ride passing the quarter, but weakened. CARPET QUEEN trailed in the three path, was coaxed along in the two path around the turn, but never threatened.
