Chart notes
HIDDEN RANSOM settled to race not too far behind the pace three wide, slowly closed the distance through the turn and entered the stretch dueling with rivals, edged clear in the final sixteenth. ROLLIN MY WAY opted to race around the middle of the pack four wide, saved some ground in the turn to make an inside bid entering the stretch to duel rivals but had no closing bid. C V JERSEY BEE stalked the early pace in the two path, unable to close for a relatively even finish. STORMED OUT showed good early speed along the inside, lost ground to enter the stretch in the four path, yielded and weakened in the final furlong. PAINT THE TOWN was a step slow out of the gate, split foes and moved up to be rated along the inside of the middle of the pack through the turn, unable to rally in the stretch. IRONCLAD ALIBI raced in the middle of the pack between foes, never threatened. GIFT OF OAK trailed shortly after the start, passed retreating foe in the stretch. OHIO STRONG had an awkward start, raced off the pace four wide, retreated in the stretch and eased across. GENERAL INQUIRY MADE BY THE STEWARDS RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
