TISUM laid off of the pace two wide and between horses, progressed along the inside into the lane, tipped out to the five path in midstretch, progressed while hanging on his left lead, changed to his right lead while offering a bid in the final sixteenth and reeled in the leaders in time. CAPRIO stalked while moving outside of the leader and to the three path into the backstretch, bid two wide around the far turn, drew clear entering the lane, but tired in the final sixteenth, got nailed at the wire and saved place. C. P. A. JIM tracked from the three path, pursued within range in the two to three path rounding the far turn, took aim outside of the new leader in upper stretch, sustained slow progress into the final sixteenth, bid along with an outer rival reaching the wire but got outkicked and missed place. PSALMIST bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the two to three path, fanned out to the six path into the lane and ran on willingly. VERSED broke slowly, pursued from midpack in the three to four path, chased within range around the far turn, but lacked a bid and gave way.
